TOPIC: SUBMIT TO JESUS CHRIST

SCRIPTURAL READING: John 3: 35-36; Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

MESSAGE: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin (1 John 1:7).

Beloved, there is need to completely submit your life to Christ Jesus in order to overcome all forms of darkness. As long as a man is not in Christ, he or she will be in darkness (Isaiah 60:1-3). Darkness is ugly, painful, stressful, dangerous and can make someone’s life miserable (Psalm 74:20).

The divine image that was in the life of Adam became marred when he voluntarily sinned against God through deception in the garden Eden. That single act of disobedience to God’s instruction made Adam became a Sinner. The children of Adam inherited his sin nature and the process has not changed.

Do you know that whether you do good or bad there will always be a reward for your action? This is one of the reasons you are expected to submit to Jesus Christ completely so that you can have divine strength to do good. The scripture says “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil” (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14).

Moreover, the word of God let us know that it is absolutely necessary for any that want to escape everlasting pain to submit completely to Jesus Christ. The word of God says “The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him” (John 3:35 -36).

Those who truly look unto the Lord Most High will not be disappointed. They will be equipped with divine ability to escape the corruption of this world.

PRAYER POINT: By your mercy O Lord, guide my decision and help me to follow you in all I do. Help me O Lord to do what is right before you in all areas of my life.
